So much to share with the life of the Church at St. John's. 1. We are nearing the point in our Dome and Roof project to start purchasing materials. We are about 5K away from this point and if you are interesting in helping please do so by Pay Pal. If possible, we would love to see this project completed before Pascha. 2. St. Macrina Orthodox Academy is in full swing with preparations for our start of the School year September 4th. We are in need of your prayers and support as we start this effort to form our children's hearts and minds in the Orthodox Life in Christ.
Greatly humbled by the outpouring of love for our little school!
Greetings in Christ. I wanted to thank everyone who donated and help work the yard sale today. We sold a very large percentage of the donated items making just under $1100 for the school and $100 for the roof and dome. We still have a few larger items we are selling online but overall all the donations have found new homes. Glory to God. Again, thank you to all.
Getting all set up for tomorrow’s sale! If you’re coming to help on Sat. please wear your St. John’s t-shirt!!! Don’t own one? There are plenty available at Church!!!
Huge Yard Sale this coming SATURDAY! 7/20 8am-1pm 283 Reata Rd. All proceeds benefit our new school!
“We have been building a body of evidence over the past six years to show that singing in a choir can have a range of social, emotional and psychological benefits, and now we can see it has biological effects too.” Just join your parish choir already! 😃😙😇 H/T Rdr. Benedict Sheehan!
